Arbeit,arbeit und arbeit

Arbeit,arbeit und arbeit = work, work, and work … yup… that’s my regular activity nowadays … I have to finish the master project (Scorm based e-learning) for my master study, I have to work on my job, .. well 2 jobs actually ;) , as webmaster for my uni’s web page (maintain the web, maintain the server, email and other bunch of stuffs) and another job is as web designer in local IT company (Verwag GmbH)… (more…)

Busy Semester

It’s been more than 2 months since my last post :), and again I’m in the middle of another busy semester. Me and my group at the University, around 8 people, are struggling to finish our master project this semester and the deadline is in mid of February, and that’s include the working prototype and of course…. the report…

Meanwhile, another thing that keep me very busy is that finally I start working in a real German’s company, and the job is the same job that I’ve been working for the past 3 years before I went to Germany… ^_^ and for sure much2 better than working in a factory or restaurant :) and the good thing is, they allow me to speak english rather than deutsch, cause ich spreche kein gut deutsch ;) (more…)

Yess… Finally !!!, I get the internet connection in my room, after waiting for about 4 months !!

First I apply a local provider, T-online, but after waiting for about 2 months without any progress (whenever I complained, they always said “please be patient bla..bla..bla”) so I decided to change the provider to Arcor, my friends said it’s better and faster..

Semester presentation

This january I have lot’s of presentation regarding my topic in Digital Media,
recently was a seminar/lecture called Hypermedia : Selected topics with an emphasis on digital art, with Prof.Dr.Frieder Nake, this lecture basically dealing with the early computer art/artist that connected to hypermedia, well in fact Mr. Nake himself is one of the pioner in computer art.

3 months in Deutschland

It’s been 3 months now… lots of things happening to me, I’ve already moved to a bigger city called Bremen, It’s a nice city with lots of old building. I live in a single apartment now but I have to share bathroom and kitchen, very exciting place… I still wait for the internet connection, I hope next week they’ll install the phone and internet connection….

Yesterday in Bremen I experienced my first snow.. yeahh… the first time in my live that I’ve touched a snow, very exciting moment :) .. but too bad only one day.. after that it’s nothing…

Right now I have to concentrate to my works at the university… lots of works, presentation, lab work, home work, group work, and maaaannnyyy other work stuffs hehehehe…

Ied Mubarak @ Deutschland

Happy Ied Mubarak.. ! that’s what we said to each other… well Ied Mubarak or Lebaran was very different here in germany, there was no ‘takbiran’ and no ‘ketupat’ :( , but thank’s God we’re was able to made a little celebration, little halal bi halal here in Bremen City with other Indonesian people, well not much, around 30 peoples.

and of course there was no holiday on lebaran, in fact I had a lecture at 10 in the morning on lebaran day hiks hiks…

Ramadhan in Deutschland

This is the first Ramadhan that I ever experience outside Indonesia.. It’s just like regular day in here, not like in Indonesia…

I have to cook a sahur food by myself ;) , yes that’s right.. I have to learn how to cook here hehe, I can’t buy Mc D all the time :) but for breaking the fast I always go to the Mosque, because there is always a free meal for everybody, yesterday I eat a kebab at Turkish Mosque. Hmmmm yummi

3 weeks after leaving Indonesia

It’s only 3 weeks I’ve been living in deutschland, but a lot of thinks happen in my home country Indonesia… after the dramatic raisen of our fuel price and the bombing at kuta and Jimbaran in Bali… and then .. what else ??? I still can’t understand why they bombed Bali again.. why ?? why ?? … speachless

1st week in Deutschland

Finally I can get an internet connection from my campus, but I still unable to use my laptop, cause my VPN password are still not active yet.. so I still can’t upload my town’s picture….. phufh.. maybe next week I can upload some picture.. It will be a great picture, I promise ;)
well what can I say about Germany…. well first of all.. I’ts COLD.. 15 degress everyday, even if the sun is shining, and the humidity is so dry, I have to wear a lipstick (lipcare hehehe, not that lipstick) everyday…
